To enable simple and secure emailing with anyone, without the recipient being required to subscribe to the service.

 

The Challenge

 

Sending a regular email, via MS Outlook or other traditional mailing platforms, to any recipient (registered or not), while still upholding the highest security level and maintaining complete control over the transmitted data.

 

The Solution

 

InfoBay Secure Mailer enables the sending of regular or system generated emails in a secure fashion directly from MS Outlook, using a non-disruptive plug-in. The recipient can be anyone, a registered user (with a username and password) or a non-registered addressee.

 

An email sent through InfoBay Secure Mailer will contain a link to the message, rather than the message itself. In order to access the message, the addressee will need to click on the link and login to the system. Non-registered users will receive an ad-hoc login password in the form of a text message to their cellular phone. This procedure conforms to the 'two-factor authentication' required to ensure the necessary security level is met.

 

However, the 'two-factor authentication' system is only the first step in ensuring a truly secure communication channel. InfoBay's advanced solution also provides configurable parameters that enable control over the message's exposure period, the login credentials expiry date, how long the message will remain on the server and of course, what the recipient is authorized to do with the message content.

 

InfoBay Secure Mailer provides a double layer of authentication as well as viewing restrictions, ensuring that the message is received and read only by the correct recipient, reducing potential errors to virtually zero.
