Communicating with agents is a vital channel for insurance carriers and MGAs. They need to communicate particular and relevant information, secure in the knowledge that only that particular information has been sent. They need to know that the information arrived at the recipient’s, and to maintain access and control sharing of that information.
InfoBay ASM allows carriers and MGAs to do all of that and more. They can share sensitive information with agents by creating a direct and easily accessible channel of communication between back-office systems and the agents, while maintaining the same strict level of security enforced within the network. Most importantly, they stay in control of all shared data, can change or remove it at any time, whether it has been accessed by the agent or not.
For an insurance carrier, broker or MGA, the claims management process has the least room for error. At the heart of this process are volumes of sensitive information communicated daily to the many service providers - from assessors and investigators, to lawyers, contractors, hospitals, garages and many others. This communication channel is vital to the success of the claims management processes.
SSM is an InfoBay Enterprise Platform application that allows managing claims correspondence and share sensitive information with claims related service providers, without fear of information leaks, in a secure, immediate, direct and fully controlled manner. This is achieved by creating a secure environment, in which external service providers are given access to the data rather than receiving the data itself and compromising the company's control over it. With InfoBay SSM, the outbound data is 'published' and stamped with the relevant claim information instead of being sent to the recipient's inbox. The recipient receives access information (username and password) to the remote data, providing viewing privileges, as well as the ability to respond and upload documents, which will again be stamped with the same claim information and routed directly to the relevant location in the system.
While secure, controlled correspondence with regular subscribed users can be achieved through a sophisticated system coupled with user registration and access details (username and password), one of the main challenges of secure data transfer remains ad-hoc and occasional users, such as customers.
InfoBay CSM is the answer to this challenge, guaranteeing protected access of non-registered users. CSM is a dedicated InfoBay Secure Mailer application that creates a personalized, secure and automatically updated hub for customers. In order to communicate information to a customer, the system sends the link to the information to the customer's email. Once the URL (link) is accessed by the customer, a text message with login password is sent to their cellular phone. The information then becomes accessible to the customer with predefined limitations (read-only, download, forward, time-limit etc.).
